Welcome to Marry's Story Corner!

While Marry no longer needs to learn about the world through books she still loves a good story every now and then. That being said, she also needs more um... practice... in talking with people and making friends.

So now she's come to Tones, but... how is she going to make friends with everyone? Maybe with a new game?

It's a simple combination between telling a story and having a conversation. A collaborative story telling game, if you will. The rules are really simple, so don't worry too much and just have some fun with it!

 

• You contribute to the story by commenting one-to-two sentences in response to whatever sentence(s) come(s) before yours. For example;(Person A: The little mermaid couldn't bear to kill the prince because she loved him so much.) (Person B: So instead of jumping into the ocean she woke him up to tell him about her love for him through a series of charades!)

 

• There must be at least two comments between your own before you can post again.

 

• You may make a total of 5 comments, with each comment being worth a base prize of 2 random cards + 1 random new release card! In addition, if you max your comments you will receive 1 random note as a bonus!

 

• Each story will have an overarching theme! In addition, for fun and to keep to the theme of this tcg a bit, I will be linking videos to songs (99% of which will probably be vocaloid) that inspired or have something to do with the theme. It is not required to base your stories 100% on these songs. You can even participate without listening to the songs at all. So get creative! We only ask that you keep to the round's theme as best as you can. 


Today Marry has been inspired by a song about a witch. 

The theme is "a story about a witch".
Will our story end happily, or must all stories about women accused as witches end in tragedy?
You never really know how a story will go until you begin it.

This game will be bi-weekly and new posts will go up on Wednesdays! This round will end on May 18th.

Once upon a time, in a small village there lived a witch.

The witch was a kind woman who helped whenever she could.

She acted as doctor and mediator for the village she lived in, and she was very popular.

There was only one problem. Unbeknownst to her, the witch's popularity began to make her familiar jealous!

So, to tackle this problem, the familiar started to put obstacles in the witch's way, in hopes that this would make her popularity wane again.

The rumour was that her cures woudl eventually return to backstab the people whom they were intended for.
