♪ Prejoin Day 5: Design your own animation team!

Hello, and welcome to the 5th day of prejoin! Chuu again
Have you, at some point in your life, wanted to create your own anime? Perhaps from a manga you've always loved or a visual novel that has not been turned into one for the longest time? Do you possibly want an anime that exists to be remade to be more accurate to the original? Or maybe you have your story in mind that you want envisioned into that type of medium! Well, here is your chance! All I'm asking is to create your own animation team of sorts!
Since a lot of us do not pay attention to names of people on the animation staff, I will only ask for at least one animation director or character designer and one animation studio of your choice! Do that and you'll receive 5 random cards and 1 random note. Mention at least 2 seiyuu you'd like to hire to voice your characters, and get 2 more random cards! That should nail you a maximum of 7 random cards and 1 random note.
Like all prejoin games/posts, this one will end on January 7th (GMT-10). That should give you plenty of time then o/

There were some new characters in the manga that didn't make it to the anime. In particular, I think Ikari (the manga's late main villain) would be well voiced by Junichi Suwabe! And Shinobu, Nadeshiko's butler, would be a great Mamoru Miyano.

Shinichiro Watanabe to direct, Akio Watanabe as character designer, and I want... hm... either SHAFT or Gainax to direct. Oh, or KyoAni! That's what I would say, I think. I would probably want Hiroshi Kamiya to voice someone and definitely Miyuki Sawashiro without a doubt since I'm totally in love with her voice. So... would it be funny or serious or... it's sort of a crazy mix to have Watanabe direct but with all the rest of them, I have no idea what kind of anime that would turn out as, lmfao.
BONUS I'd totally want Kalafina to do a song because I love them~
FUCK WAIT I THINK I READ IT WRONG LOL that'd be my own nonsense anime that I made up. Any of those guys working on things is something I'd watch! The only manga I can genuinely think of that I'd want to get an anime adaption is Hana-Kimi. It could be fun if KyoAni did that, maybe~

Though, I am in love with the amazingly fluid animation in Haikyuu!! and would love to have their team on board too.....For seiyuu it's basically those I am in love with but I don't know how to match characters and voices xD; Romi Park and Hosoya Yoshimasa probably, haha.no subject

I've never thought of creating my own anime (I can't write or draw so...that would be pointless) but i'd like to see Pandora Hearts redone so that it follows the manga, (when it finishes). I think having that animated would be amazing.
For a director I'd probably go with Yasuhiro Irie, working with Takao Kato. Irie directed Fullmetal Alchemist (including Brotherhood) and he was the the Key Animation Director in No.6. So I think he'd be great for a remake of Pandora Hearts, Plus Kato was the original director of Pandora Heart so it would be cool to get them together to do the remake of Pandora.
The animation studio I'd probably keep the same: Xebec. The animation was amazing and very fluid. No surprise because Xebec is a subsidiary to I.G production, which is also just as great.
For Seiyuu's I'd keep the original cast (because I don't think I can get used to a voice change for any of the characters). For some of the new characters that weren't in the anime, like Lacie, maybe Fumiko Orikasa would be a great VA. Also for Oswald Nightray maybe Tomokazu Sugita would be good fit. I'd like also to se Suzumura Kenichi and Maaya Sakamoto as some others that show up in one episode (like some of the Nightrays?)

Also this wasn't included but ost by Iwasaki Taku.

Like, bring in Watanabe Akio for character designs. He did them for the visual novel so it'd work for a new anime, I'm sure! UFOTable animating it would be super amazeballs- especially if they showed scenes of Yuuji at his "work" and all...
Voices, all the girls should totally stay with their original seiyuus (Tanaka Ryoko, Taguchi Hiroko, Mizuhashi Kaori, Tamiyasu Tomoe, Shimizu Ai) since I think it'd be a little weird otherwise, though that may just be because I'm used to the original VN voices.
Yuuji though.... I think Hino Satoshi could work well, just based on what I heard from him in DRAMAtical Murder as Noiz. Sakurai Takahiro's a pretty good fit too, though!
All in all, my dream adaption of Grisaia no Kajitsu would either a) be hella long with each of the routes branching off of one another with resets back to the choice scenes at the end, or b) go along with the Grand Route from Meikyuu in which all of the girls' problems are solved without Yuuji getting into a romantic relationship with any of them, which would be nice too!
Really though, I'm just super biased against the currently running anime because I can pick out flaws left and right in what I've watched because I've read majority of the source material and a lot of it is still pretty fresh in my mind. ;; It ruins my enjoyment of it.no subject
Lesse, a good team would be Ryūichi Makino (Wandering Son) as character designer and... How about Ikue Ootani for the girl and Mayumi Tanaka for the boy? (It's been so long since I read it I can't remember any names sob)

Uh. How about an anime of Suikoden III? Maybe it can be done by...J.C. Staff? I really liked their ROD the TV. And Kōichi Mashimo could direct, I liked the direction on PoPoLoCrois and .hack//Sign. And seiyuu...I really don't know much, but Manami Numakura (Hibiki Ganaha from iDOLM@STER) could voice someone. Maybe Viki? I also like Kujira (Otose from Gintama), but...I can't think of anyone for her to voice. Maybe Peggy? Or Sana...? Her voice is really low, but I love it so much...

as for designer...hmmm I really like range murata's style. though i'm not sure it'll fit with the style. (Like idk if minekura would even do characters designs for animu. but that'd be like ultimate dream right there) As for studio, hmm idk....gonzo or gainax perhaps.
casually copypastas seiyuu list.
Main Cast
Sehj : Kappei Yamaguchi [Inuyasha, Inuyasha [duh]]
Nami : Yuriko Yamaguchi [Robin, One piece]
Sahbre : Kaida Yuki
Tel : Minagawa Junko
Praet : Aya Hisakawa [Yuki, Fruits basket]

And, thinking about it? Seeing Studio Trigger (Animation Studio) take over and run with it would be magical. They could handle the wierdness that the series has and properly translate it into the action and suspense necessary in an anime adaptation. Considering what Hiroyuki Imaishi (Animation Director) did with Kill La Kill, and previously Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? Seriously. All I need to say is "Episode 8" and it's obvious why this is my pick.
That said, I have a few seiyuu picks that come to mind, listed as character: seiyuu.
Amamiya Yuuhi: Miyano Mamoru
Asahina Samidare: Kaida Yuko
Sorano Hanako: Noto Mamiko
Kusakabe Tarou: Hanae Natsuki
Animus: Yamadera Kouichi
Anima: Sakamoto Maaya

I would love to have an anime of that, even if there's only been four books released. Does hatsuko count for a character designer? (Because she draws the PVs?) If not, then I'd like Chizu Hashii to be the designer. I guess I'd like Production IG (since I do like some of the animes there) to be the animation studio that takes this on.
And Maki would have to be voiced by Megumi Nakajima (since almost all the songs are sung by Gumi.) And I really want Akatin in there somehow. Even if he's not a seiyuu in any way. And maybe I could get Daisuke Namikawa (with his Romano voice) to be Yuuto Hashidate's seiyuu.
I think the opening should be broken up by "arcs" (whoever she decides to help), like the first would be Life Reset Button, and then Invisible, etc.
The ending should consistently be Haiboku no Shounen.I actually don't know anything about animation studios, or the force behind an anime, so this is what I got from wikipedia, my own bias, and common sense(?)

...no WAIT actually I want an anime series based on Hitoshi Ariga's Megaman Megamix/Gigamix, because all the Robot Masters actually have great personalities and are totally beautiful especially the Fifth Numbers, those dorky part-timers who are working for money to give to Wily. They're so cute.
I have a really disgusting bias for Ufotable and I bet they would do the fighting scenes extremely well, so that would be awesome. I don't quite follow directors and designers, so I'm just gonna go with Mariko Ito for character design, since she did a pretty good job with Log Horizon. I would say Tetsuya Kumagai because he did good with Shiroe in season 2, but then I remembered Maryelle's hair. Can we also talk music directors? Because I'd want Takanashi Yasuharu to compose the background music. He did GREAT with Log Horizon and Fairy Tail, and even Naruto Shippuden! Kajiura Yuki is also amazing, but I don't think she would fit Megaman that well, so.
I can also tell you who I DON'T want. I definitely do not want Seiji Kishi as the director, because wow he botched up DS2A so bad pretty much all DS2 fans do not acknowledge its existence. I DON't want Studio DEEN for anything EVER!!!!!!! God. g o d
As for seiyuu, I'll go ahead and not choose the obvious ones aka the seiyuu that have already been picked to voice Megaman characters, like Nobuyuki Hiyama for Forte or Takayama Minami for Axl. I'd like to see... well, I'd like to see Miyano Mamoru voice someone in Megaman. It'd be hilarious, and there probably is a Robot Master out there that would fit him. And... I can kind of see Namikawa Daisuke as Ariga-verse Starman. Oh lord.... that would be terrible.

hahah in middle school I used to hunt down the Japanese VA sound clip sites and think who would fit my characters best! Though, as I have worked over the years on people, its Harder to find the perfect voice, ya know?
Mizushima Takahiro would be okay for one of my characters. Though, I think I would rather have a more femienen voice though, for some reason. Maybe it is because I am the one who has to think of this, I hear my voice?
Maeno Tomoaki is probably the better choice for my other main. But its one of those I had like 80 people, and I had to keep listening to everyone over and over. I actually have others on list for this one, but you can only think so much with whats provided. For me, I have to listen to them and think if my character would sound like that. Its harder when you have to think of different emotions and how the voice would sound then. saldkjfasdfa TBH Anotehr one of those characters I think would do better with a Female VA. aldkfjadsf I think I just like femininity!
and on topic: Id like to see a Ran to Haiiro no Sekai anime alksdfjasd but no teams or anything in general, just saying id like that hahaha

Though I do want a remake/second season of Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru, since the manga has a guy who definitely looks like a Junichi Suwabe character. This guy, in particular. I'd be fine with J.C. Staff continuing their work and Katsushi Sakurabi directing.
no subject
speaking of Ouran, Maaya Sakamoto already voiced one crossdressing girl so let's make her be Mizuki, haha. aaaand Yoshimasa Hosoya for Sano? based solely on his performance as Sousuke in Free!, I can see Sano sounding like an extra chill Sousuke. good enough.
I am very bad at this I never pay attention to these things when I watch anime. BUT I BELIEVE IN THEM THEY COULD MAKE THIS WORK.

I would hire Takehito Koyasu because I know what character I would give him if I had the ability to make an anime of what I have in mind, and I would also hire Jūrōta Kosugi because every anime needs his voice, the end.

This anime would look and sound so weird lmfao

if i could chose a studio to make an adaption i'd love for it to be done by kyo-ani or bones. as for director, maybe kenji nakamura? i'd want the character designer to be atsuya uki. they did such lovely work for tsuritama, cencoroll and the upcoming digimon adventure tri. and for seiyuus i'd love yūki kaji, mamoru miyano and miyu irino

If I were to make an anime of my own I'd probably still go for UFOtable just because bias, and hell having Hidari design my characters would be an honor of course. But director... maybe Akiyuki Shinbo? OKAY I'M MOSTLY THINKINF OG MADOKA and a little Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, but he seems good at doing dark stories/humor but also with an upbeat tone, and I'd like to do something like that... Or if I wanted something more fantasy-ish then Takashi Watanabe? Because Slayers. I'm looking up shows I like and just saying that director, yup.
