Warning: Some of this involves violence/mental illness and may be triggering for some. I'm going to try and alternate sad and happy stuff though instead of having the list of everything horrible that has ever happened to me because IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS SERIOUSLY
Disco Lights by Alex S because I'm a brony/pegasister/whatever and I love MLP music alright deal with it.
Zero by Hawk Nelson has been on my mind a lot lately because of an incident of violence at my school. Suicide wasn't involved like the song implies, but the kid who committed the crime dealt with a mental illness similar to the one I deal with. He had so much potential and now his life is going to be ruined by this. Even though I don't get violent, I can't help but see a little of myself in him, and its reaffirmed my desire to not lie down and die even when people see me as an inconvenience.
Starfriends on Earth is one of my newest favorite songs. It makes me so happy is sort of a comfort in a time where I'm surrounded by a lot of new faces and kinda fail sometimes at remembering to appreciate the people who like me for who I really am.
I Belong to You by Building 429 is a song from a CD I had on repeat when I was on public transit going to visit my dad in the hospice. It still brings back memories of that time for me.
Yet by Switchfoot is the song the flavor text on my old tradepost was from! I listen to it when I'm feeling down.
