Anniversary '16 - Day 01

Hello lovely players and welcome to our first anniversary event! Tones TCG's grand opening was one year ago today, so of course we need to celebrate~ We'll get to the nitty gritty details in just a bit, but for now, let's go ahead and get to our first day.

Today's discussion topic: decks you'd like to see!

Which decks would you like to see make an appearance here at Tones? Do you wish there was more Vocaloid stuff? Is there a certain Remix theme you think would be interesting? Or maybe there's that one elusive opening/ending that you just can't seem to find a decent version of to donate...

For answering, you will earn yourself anniversary1601, anniversary1602, and four random cards.

♪ All posts can be answered until February 10th on the latest timezone in the world!

♪ Our anniversary event will run a little shorter than our Halloween one did, but hopefully things will be just as fun and exciting. Look forward to eight days of discussions and games, as well as a very special something something to everyone who participates: the anniversary16 deck aw yeah.

♪ Prizes will be handed out throughout the month. Each game will hand out two anniversary16 cards on top of the other rewards.

♪ The anniversary16 deck is not in the randomizer or available through choice cards, but you can master it by collecting all 16 cards. More details for mastering this deck will come soon.

♪ Mods will receive the anniversary16 cards from their events as mod pay, but will have to participate in the other events like players.

♪ Players who turn in music sheets through February 10th may also ask for any choice event card from the Record Store, and players may trade event cards, so hopefully everyone will get a chance to master the deck!

Oh man, there are so many decks I would be interested in seeing in this TCG. I'd love to see card sets for Di Gi Charat, Ojamajo Doremi, Dirty Pair, and Sailor Moon (after the 1st season). I'm actually considering donating sets for Ojamajo Doremi because I have a creditless version of the OP on my computer.

I WANT TO DONATE MROE GAME OP THINGS like samurai warriors, freedom wars, the like - all my favourite vita games. the problem is that I can't get a creditless version since screenshots on the vita (they alway have a smol credit bar at the bottom).

Hm, they might still be doable? It's not that decks have to be entirely creditless, they just... obviously look better without tons of text plastering them, hah. But if it's just something at the bottom, it might be entirely possible to crop it out \o\

FINDING CREDITLESS VERSIONS OF POKEMON OPENINGS IS HARD MAN but I'd love to collect all of them. I'd also like to mass One Piece and Fairy Tail eventually. Also, I reaaaaalllly need to donate the OP for Kaiba.

So much creditless stuff from that era is just... non-existent and it makes me sad. ALAS. But yeeee for mass decking those two. I've been wanting to make some OP decks lately, so I might start contributing to that, whoops.

Game decks would definitely be awesome to see! For most TCGs, I just compile a huge list of stuff I want in a text document and randomly pick them out. Unless a recent obsession or rekindled interest makes something stand out. Basically: donate all the things! \o\

I'd like the opening of The World Ends With You! Also THE ONE PUNCH MAN OPENING and the rest of the Monogatari openings that haven't been done, yet! Climber from Haikyuu, too, whenever a creditless edition of that comes out... there's a lot of decks I want...

MORE JOJO DECKS... and i'd be interested in one based on the original umineko LN openings, because i love that dumb art. also a takehito koyasu deck because he voices some of my favorite characters!!

A WHOLE WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES... i think occultics no majo would be a pretty good one, since the OPs vary for episodes 1-4, and kiri no pithos has like... almost more stock images than dynamic sprite images!

Koyasu! Dude does some wonderfully creepy voices, so I'd be excited for a deck of his stuff. And I don't know anything about Jojo myself, but if the rest of the sequences are anything like the ones I've already done, I imagine they're gonna be pretty fun to do.

OPs for some newer series, especially show by rock!! and gatchaman crowds insight, but i can't find the creditless versions anywhere orz

also the tales of symphonia op since that's one of my favorite games but it's hard to find a high quality version of it...

Hmm... I'd like to see more video game openings in the decks and also more seiyuu decks like Hayashibara Megumi, Ono Daisuke, Ogata Megumi -- the possibilities are endless!

We definitely need more video game openings sometime. Alas most of my gaming life is not donatable sob And definitely more seiyuu decks! There's so many wonderful people to get through...

I'd love to see more video game-related things! I'm sure there's tons of anime stuff that I like that hasn't been represented much here yet, either, but I noticed in particular that there is a disturbing lack of Gintama. It has some of my favorite songs ever, so I'd love to be able to collect them one day. I'd also love to see more seiyuu decks, because ugh, voices, voices are one of my biggest weaknesses...!

I remember being super excited capping for Tones; OPs especially are always so beautiful :DD I'd love to see more nostalgia/old anime, or art that's just pretty in general even though I don't remember how the songs go anymore. Those are basically the two categories I collect lmao

Most recently I've started watching Boku dake ga Inai Machi and basically anything by Asian Kung-Fu Generation is my jam, so I'd be really excited to donate this deck if I can find good caps! I love that I can donate new series OP/ED without having to wait for the anime season to be over or avoiding spoilers :D

Man for recently joining, I am so glad Tones already got some of my favorites on here! I am already planning on tackling this TCG with Pretty Rhythm/Pripara decks despite the curse of credits right in the OP. (also you have Boueibu's OP but not the ED, that's on my plan list if it's not grabbed yet.)

I do agree with more game decks as well! I still have some VN laying around to see if their OPs are deckable.

I'm new and there's enough stuff for me to collect but a lot of my favs are missing so i have a to-donate list. I'd like to see Death Parade opening, Cutie Honey openings (the original and remakes, i'll need to think about decknames) and probably help with the Gintama quest since the lack of Shura is making me sad

Also new, hello! I'd love to collect more COLORFUL intros such as the Mononoke op or some rarer series like Mushishi and the like! However, seeing the Vocaloid pvs as decks make me so happy, I cannot even complain about what we do have. +_+

The decks I most want to see are Sound Horizon decks and I'm going to get on that asap. I will donate so much Sound Horizon. Or at least as much as I possibly can given the fact there's kind of very little official art that's not the new mangas (which I don't think count??), BUT I'M GONNA DO IT.

I would also love to see more Vocaloid decks. I also wanna see Bakumatsu Rock decks!!

Basically my donation plans are as follows: Sound Horizon -> Bakumatsu Rock -> and then Vocaloid, because the Vocaloid will never stop once I get into it. I really... love... Vocaloid pvs...

I really would like to donate the OP/EDs for Aikatsu but I don't know where to find creditless caps...... ;w; so instead i donate all the performances I really really like because they're midepisode so no credits or anything!!

I am just all for more Aikatsus in general, though.

Aside from Aikatsus though, it'd be neat to see more visual novel or game donations! I'd definitely donate Rewrite's OP if I could... 8D
