What was your favorite Opening or Ending from 2015? There sure were a lot of new Anime andGames, as well as different PVs that were released last year. Did any song become your new favorite? Or did you listen to a song on repeat for a week? Link with a video if you like as Well! I'd love to see what captivated you!

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT PARKOUR ANIME - I mean

I should actually answer this, right? MY FAVOURITE RIGHT NOW IS THE ED FROM PRINCE OF STRIDE it's titled Be My Steady! Not only is the song catchy, it's sung by my favourite group (Galaxy Standard), and the lead-in sequence to the song for Episode 2 was fantastic. AND THE WHOLE ANIMATION STYLE/COLOURS OF THE SEQUENCE ARE JUST MY JAM i love how you can play with the animation and have it change scenes based on the people's actions hhhh

All you TCG people keep talking about Prince of Stride XD I need to get with the times! Besides the Parkour comment, I have no Idea what its about, but that Ending makes me super interested! I really like those hand movements at times and the simple black/grey/white/red stripes and colors!

I posted it once and I will post it again, the One Punch Man opening is a thing of beauty. I can't deal with it. JAM Project is just so damn rad. Other favorites are the Blood Blockade Battlefront opening and ending, they make me smile everytime I watch them.

I'm assuming you meant 2015 for the videos BUT I'll link to something I finished/started watching in 2016 anyway! The Food Wars ending that's catchy, I missed it when they started the second one, and the Lupin the Third Part 4 opening!

I agree :) I love JAM Project! I actually have not started One Punch Man, but I can tell this OP is tricking me to think this is going to be a very serious anime, with all this epic imagery! Kekkai Sensen/Block Blockade Battlefront is something I am meaning to watch :') But Wow! Bringing me BUMP OF CHICKEN and UNISON SQUARE GARDEN even! (The stuff you start in 2016 count too :) I didn't think anyone would be that fastto start a new series lol never doubt this community!)

ONE OF MY FAVORITES was lapis lazuri from the arslan senki ed. dream solister was also SUPER CATCHY... and i'll admit that i wasn't 100% sold on the new jojo OP (end of THE WORLD), but IT GREW ON ME AND I LOVE IT NOW. also, onepunch man's op is A++

end of THE WORLD is currently my top listened song on iTunes, well over a few hundred Listens (that and I wanted to memorize the lyrics perfectly..) so I understand :') It gets you eventually, to addicting! That Lapis Lazuri song is really pretty too!

EVERYBODY PUT YOUR HANDS UP it's so catchy and a VERY good wake up tune. i just switched back to my old one because i didn't want to start hating the song because i'd always connect it to waking up. oh and the overlord op is really good too.

currently i'm also listening to the latest ygo arc v ed on loop.. it's so cute?? and i like how everyone looks so relaxed in it.. like they're dead or something

As soon as I read "EVERYBODY PUT YOUR HANDS UP" I knew what you were talking about. This song was a song I remember being excited for the Single release! This is the first time I heard the Overlord OP, but I know This would become too addicting once I start up the series XD Its a very catchy song!

My favorite openings of 2015 were, without a doubt, were JoJo Sono Chi no Kioku ~end of THE WORLD~" from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure-Stardust Crusaders, and "The Hero!! ~Ikareru Ken ni Honō o Tsukero~" from One Punch Man. Both were just epic and addictive!

end of THE WORLD is probably the best song ever! I think It so far, has been my favorite JoJo OP to date (which is silly, cause I remember every time a new one came out, I was like "I'll never like you as much as the previous one" and then it would happen). I have not seen a Jam Project music video in years.. maybe even 10!! Wow! They look the same (no one ages in the music industry!) The One Punch Man OP is very catchy from what I have seen so far.

The only anime I really watched in 2015 is Etotama, so I'll say the opening theme is pretty darn catchy.

I'll say its catchy! I thought the singer sounded so familiar too (But as far as I could tell, I don't think Ive seen anything she has really been in, or sang in for that matter.) Its a very cute song!

I watched Go Princess Pretty Cure for 2015 and both of the openings were super adorable! :D

yesss :) I also really dug the Ending themes from Princess Precure~! Did You like them too? I really like Precure songs :) They seem to have a good idea on how to make a catchy and cute song! Its a shame Precure started so late for me, If this type of stuff was around when I was younger, I'd probably sing it over and over again (I guess I can still do that though lol).

To answer my own Question...

JoJo Sono Chi no Kioku ~end of THE WORLD~ is probably one of my all time top songs now :') Love this Jojo OP, and even though I think of the the recent JoJo OPs were great, this one just set the bar IMO :)

Also got REALLY into the 3rd ArcV Opening, Hanate (which actually is a few plays under end of THE WORLD on my itunes list.) Its just so darn catchy. Like ugh the signing and the tone. and the beat!!! So catchy!!! Even if your not like a YGO Fan, I think this is such a good song.

i didn't watch that many series in 2015 admittedly but my favorite was definitely the rolling girls, especially the opening! and i had the kekkai sensen ending on repeat for like weeks.

also the tales of zestiria op gets me so pumped

Wow! Cute OP for the Rolling Girls! It kind of reminds me of the K-ON endings and song videos. I like the visuals and color patterns going on in this!

I have still yet to see a Tale series (My Bro never shuts up about them, and keeps recommending them to me.) But I remember hearing about this one when it first game out (game or the anime? was this one a game too?) I wont lie, I do wanna see this one a lot ;; The quality of the animation in the OP makes it looks good too!

end of THE WORLD was hands down my favorite, too... Just everything about it is perfect?! I loved how they had the vocalists from the previous OPs come together for it. It's an epic song with epic animation to go with it, and the way they changed it up at the end when DIO appeared?! That was so awesome. Just thinking about it gets me so excited, I'm not sure I'll ever see an OP as cool as that one again! Since it's already been linked, I'll just link this super cool live performance of it instead.

Aside from that, I also really dug Durarara!!x2's first OP, HEADHUNT! It's nowhere near as epic, but it was so very DRRR!! and that made me happy to be watching it again! I suddenly realize I didn't watch much new anime the past year, goodness, LMAO.

OMG! I never seen the live performance of it!!! So epic!!!! hype hype hype! I don't even usually do LA stuff, but wow so awsome! I love watching the OPs, because they put so much stuff in their that like, if you read the comics you find, but also if your rewatching the show, or heck just near the end of the series, you notice! (did you see jotaro's fingers twitch?)

"it was very DRRR" - that's a good thing, right? Also recaps in an Opening? Why don't a lot of series do this? I think that's really cool actually!

YES oh my gosh, that was my favorite part... There's just all these neat, small details and it made it so fun to watch! I can't wait to see what they do with Diamond is Unbreakable, too, though I still think it'll be super hard to beat this one!

And haha, yes! I think a lot of times, when a show changes the OP or ED, the new song doesn't really have the same feeling as the old one, you know? But DRRR's new song had the same feeling which I really loved. And I agree, having the recap is really cute! It flows really well with the song, and it's super helpful, too. I would love to see something like that happen more often!

I love when Rika Matsumuto does the Pokemon Songs! (I was really into her R/S based seasons songs like Spurt and Challanger!) I tried so hard to keep up with XY when it first started Airing, but like with everything, I got sidetracked ;; The art style in the OP looks soo good though! Like is this even the same Pokemon I remember from the 90s?! wow!

Fun fact, the only thing I watched all of 2015 was Haikyuu!! Season 2 at the very end of the year and not once did I skip the OP1 I'm A Believer P: I also liked the second OP but it didn't "fit" as well as the first, to me.

Obvious shoutout to Flyers. As for me, Pripara is my hooked on anime right now with its cute, colorful and upbeat openings. Dream Parade is one of the favorites from it!

I consider Flyers OP of the year and HERO the runner up but both have been posted multiple times already. As for games, White Light has been mentioned but not linked, i think? Gintama had some great ones as well, Pride Kakumei being the one i liked most, probably

I havent heard a Gintama OP before (But wow 15 OPs! Thats probably 15 seasons :O So many songs!) That one was neat and catchy! Makes me want to watch the series XD The White Light one is pretty cool too! Was this the latest Tales of series? So many new characters @@

Gintama recently hit its 300th episode so yeah, it's pretty long! And yeah, Zestiria is the newest game in the series!

As far as anime goes, Show by Rock!!'s ending was my favorite, but overall, Tales of Zestiria's opening, White Light, is definitely #1 on my list. UFOtable's animation is gorgeous, and the vocals are amazing. I've listened it on repeated... more times than I can count...

Mmm this is a little hard because I haven't really been watching/consuming a lot of new things lately. Since lives don't count I guess...

The opening to Fate Grand Order Shikisai made me actually cry when it started playing on my phone. Like. There were definite tears. I was so overwhelmed by its general existence.

Would all the -monogatari series OP/EDs be a valid answer since I watched everything there was through the end of Owarimonogatari last year? 8D

mathemagics the second OP for Owarimonogatari has a really really neat animation, in my opinion! I really liked how it was mirrored all throughout, and how trippy it looked. It seemed really fitting for Sodachi, who was the main girl in that arc!
