♪ Prejoin Day 2 - Brainstorming time!!

Hey all, I'm Kiri! It's a pleasure to meet you, and I'm very excited to be on the staff team here.

I'm here now to welcome everyone to day two of the prejoin event, which I've decided to call Brainstorming time!! This here is a discussion post that will be (hopefully) very easy to participate in, and give you a chance to win a good amount of cards to help build your trading and collecting piles up until services open when grand opening arrives. It'll give you a chance to earn a bit of currency to save up, too!

Comment here linking to a video of an opening/ending/insert/vocaloid song that you like and would like to see eventually end up with a deck here to get 2 random cards. Here's the extra fun part - you can comment with up to ten songs (ten links) making the total amount possible to win here 20 random cards. As an added bonus, you'll receive one random music note per five songs (links), making the total possible amount of music notes to be earned 2!

So, if you choose to contribute to the max, you'll get rewarded to the max. 20 random cards and 2 random music notes will come your way.

The goal here is to help everyone think of ideas of possible decks to donate for grand opening or any other time in the future, and to make it easier to trade around until there will be more opportunities to earn cards and expand your trading piles!

Along with every other prejoin discussion and game, this will close on January 7th (GMT-10). This post will remain unscreened, no need to link to your game thread here! I will be replying to comments asap as they come in.

Alright I'm rolling in with nine vocaloid songs and one song from an anime. The vocaloid stuff is just really really good. A+ would recommend to everyone. I aimed to pick songs that have a large variety of scenes, which makes it much easier (and simultaneously more challenging) to pick 16 for the deck.

1) Yowane Haku - Daughter of White
This is my first recommendation, for obvious reasons. It's also super super good and one of my favorite songs in the story of evil. Tragic stories kill me, but they're also my favorite.

2) Gumi - Egoselfish
It would be so easy and awesome to have a duality-theme to this deck! All the odds are selfish, all the evens are selfless. Seriously, think about it! This'd make one hell of a deck.

3) Gumi - Eye Examination
Gumi in glasses, a song about an "eye examination" but maaaan that's totally not what this is about. Lots of subtle messages going on, I love it. *u*

4) Gumi - Heartbreak Headlines
Gumi iN GLASSES. Also absolutely hilarious "news report" song about news that isn't really news at all. Take a second to note that the exact calculations and statistics with which these numbers were derived are nonexistent.

5) Gumi/Len - Ah, It's a Wonderful Cat Life
CAN WE JUST. This is a song about Gumi being a cute housecat and Len being a stray street cat. And. Can we just. Take a second. I mean. I don't even need to say much about this. Seriously. Also it's adorable beginning to end.

6) Rin/Len - Synchronicity 2 - Paradise of Light and Shadow
I don't even need words for this. There's so much that happens, the song has multiple storylines going on, and there are so many gorgeous scenes to pick from. It's so, so good beginning to end. Honestly there's enough for two decks, the card choices are going to be hard to make!

7) Rin/Len - Synchronicity 3 - Requiem of the Spinning World
Here you go, have even more for this story. Less happens in this one, for obvious reasons, but there's still more than enough to make a gorgeous deck out of. Just gotta be careful that it's not too similar to scenes in the Paradise of Light and Shadow deck. I'd say this deck should be made first, just in case! As a bonus, the Nico Chorus version of this song is incredible.

8) Miku - Distant Fields (Sarishinohara)
Tragic stories are my lifeblood and this is no exception. I'll just be over here quietly weeping, especially at Wotamin's cover of it.

9) Miku - Forty-Seven
The sequel to the above song, elaborates on the situation more and... man. Sad feels all around. The concept is based on truth, and the name is completely relevant. :(

10) Starship Operators - Radiance
So many visual choices all throughout this opening! And it's really pretty to listen to. It's a series that is pretty much unknown to most, but it was and is really good. Tactical spaceship battles, space politics, suspense!! Holy fuck, so good.

MORE VOCALOID SONGS BLESS - I am so, so, so, soooooo glad to have the opportunity to collect Vocaloid PVs on a dreamwidth based TCG because website based ones are so hard for me to hold interest in, orz. Out of the songs you linked here I recognize and love Daughter of White, Egoselfish, Heartbreak Headlines, and also Ah, It's a Wonderful Cat Life! ~~As you can probably guess Gumi is one of my favorite Vocaloids~~. I've got to check out the other songs you linked one of these days!

1. The openings for the Dangan Ronpa and Super Dangan Ronpa 2 games, definitely! Since both of the songs are variations of the "Dangan Ronpa" title, deck maker could always go with something like "trigger happy" and "goodbye despair" for the names if they'd prefer something different idk. :o
2. Devil Survivor 2 The Animation - Be this sequence is so DEEP I especially love the version where it's down to only Hibiki and Yamato in the end.. it gave me chills the first time I saw it!

3. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood OPs and EDs (All of FMAB's OPs and EDs are fantastic really, they fit so well with what's going on in the series at that time)

5. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate OP (I demand at least one deck of Monster Hunter in one of my TCGs!!!)
6. Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance OP (By far my most favourite KH OP. I get so many feels, especially when Xion appears ;__;)

YES. YES. YES. I feel the same way toward the DeSu2 Anime ED, I love that sequence so, so, so much. I also love how there are so many parodies of it out there now, sticking with the original and making the characters who died in canon disappear... those videos make me all emotional. ;_;

1. Get Backer's OP 2 This is one of thoses OPs that if its never donated, ill do it myself (I probably will)
2. 5D's ED 3 Ill probably donate this one next month. I THINK I can squeeze 17 images out of it @@ EDs are the trickiest!
3. You Say ~Ashita e~(5Ds insert song) its easier to link to the song then a clip (since it appeared 3 times anyways @@)
4.Persona 2: Innocent Sin OP (PSP) I'd love to see some persona stuff... just not only persona 4.. (its not the only persona series seriously.)
5.　Persona 2 : Eternal Punishment OP (PSP) ditto on the second game.
6. Kingdom Hearts OP I know someone mentioned the 3Ds version B-) but thats what varients are for, right? (I couldn't find the Hikari version, same video though.)

9. Room of Angel (Silent Hill 4 Insert Song) I guess this wouldn't really count. Not sure, its a game insert, a japanese game at that. Though not really a japanese song. TBH its also a bloody scene. sadfsldajfsa Regardless, good song B-)
10. Tribe Cool Crew's OP I doubt I would ever see a creditless of this anyways, so probably never happen!

I looked over the 5D's ED 3 for you, and luckily I agree that I think it'll be possible to get enough screencaps out of it to be able to have a deck of it here! \o/

Oh no, this will be hard.

1. Till the end - Kamigami no Asobi Anime Opening. A very wonderful opening.
2. Reason for - Kamigami no Asobi Anime Ending. Even better than the opening.
3. 14 to 1 - Brothers Conflict Anime Ending. Because we already have an opening, we should def have the ending too.
4. Kakumei e no Prelude - New Prince of Tennis - Genius vs 10 OVA opening. Currently my favorite Tenipuri op.
5. Kanon - Uta no Prince-sama Maji 2000% opening. I will find a better version of this, grr.
6. Zeoptrope - Amnesia anime Opening
7. Futatsu no Kodō to Akai Tsumi - Vampire Knight opening 1
8. Ichirin no Hana - Bleach 3rd Opening
9. Wish NANA opening 2
10. Devil Surivor anime opening - I'm not sure what the name for this is, but it's awesome anyway.
