FAQ
Is there something you’re unsure of after reading the information page on the TCG? Or, maybe, you have a question regarding a particular situation or service. Whatever the case may be, you’ve come to the right place. Leave your questions here, and the staff team will be with you as soon as possible!
Q. When donating decks for Vocaloid PVs, should I go with the Japanese title or the English/translated title?
A. Whichever title you feel is more well-known to the fandom!
Q. Do member cards count toward my trade count? How about my card count?
A. Yes and no! Your member card is not considered an actual card, so it won't count towards your card count, but it does count for trades.
Q. Can I apply for a mastery if I have all cards from a deck pending?
A. It depends on where they’re pending from. If they’re pending from any of the official services, yes. However, if they’re pending from trades, you’ll have to wait until the trades are completed.
Q. Can I give out cards for free?
A. Yes, yes you can! In these circumstances, the music sheet trade point would only count for the person who doing the giving, since they are losing that card.
Q. What about currency? Can I trade it or give it to anyone as a gift?
A. Yes and yes. you’re free to trade currency however often you’d like. It won’t count toward your trade count (or for the player you’re giving it to), but you’re welcome to hand it out as gifts as well.

I notice the rule is that you need at least 40 images for OPs, 20 for EDs? If I understand correctly, the rule is in place to try and get a good amount of pics since OPs tend to be more dynamic, right?
The problem is, some OPs are just slower, like OPs for many romantic/dramatic animes, but still have over the 20 distinct images that would be necessary to make a deck. For example, I'm capping the OP for "Say 'I Love You'" and it comes out to ~30 good caps. In such cases, it doesn't really seem fair that OPs are put to a different standard even though the decks have the same number of cards.
So TL;DR my suggestion would be to make the limit 20 all around, but mention that going to 40+ is optimal? I think that'd get the same idea across that more images is better without the strange and restricting difference between OP and ED requirements.

The reason for the rule is, as you said, to get more scenes covered since OPs are often very active sequences, as opposed to EDs which are almost always pretty slow-moving. Making them both the same amount seemed out of the question from the beginning simply for that reason alone.
Our main worry with making it so low is that there's always a player who might not feel like they need to do the extra work. It happens at character tcgs sometimes. If a donation is lacking, that puts it on the deckmaker to either ask for more images and wait for the player to provide them or find a way to fill in the donation themselves. And while it's not really a fair comparison due to how much material a character can appear in vs. ~5 minute or less video sequences, it's still a worry because it takes extra time and work that could've been avoided from the beginning.
That being said, the minimum images limit isn't a "it has to be this or else it's unacceptable" case. We understand there are some openings that are slower (just like there are occasionally endings that are a little more active) and that's fine! If a player can't meet the minimum, but there's still enough unique, good-quality images to fit the template, we'll do our best to make a proper deck happen.
And with all of that said: the tl;dr here is we'd like to avoid making it as low as 20 images, but if it really feels like an unfair difference, we could try lowering it to 30? That would still give deckmakers almost twice the amount needed for a deck and, hopefully, be a good inbetween for slower and active openings. We could also include the paragraph above, since that probably would've been a good note to have in the donation rules from the beginning, and might make people feel a little easier about slower openings.

This one would be a definite no! While it is Japanese animated and while the content would make sense for a PV-type deck, the material covers a Western source, which isn't allowed.

Can songs from rhythm games be donated? I was thinking of Project Diva specifically, and they have 40+ songs - and it's not openings or endings, or a PV (like the other vocaloid songs being donated are) , and they're not really insert songs? So if I can donate these types of songs (because they have videos) what do I label them as?

Other specific rhythm games might be on an "ask just to be safe basis", but Project Diva decks are definitely okay to donate. And after asking around a bit, "PV" would be perfectly fine to use for them, even if they're not 100% the same as the other Vocaloid ones.

I ask because when I was filling the form out to donate it, I realized I wasn't sure what the "Sequence" would be so then I wondered if donating something like this was even allowed since it's not exactly an OST, drama CD, or OP/ED single!

And since they seem similar to the UtaPri puzzle decks that have been pouring in, feel free to mark their sequence as just "Single".

Sound Horizon is a fantasy story band that tells stories with characters and cohesive plots through music. They've grown so popular in Japan that now they're even making manga of their albums (so I lied a little bit about there not being manga, but it wasn't ORIGINALLY a manga it's originally just music mostly).
They have album covers like so and also are making more pvs lately like this! So if I were to donate it would be from those sources.
But again I'm not sure if it's allowed because it's never been an anime, and the manga is actually a supplemental thing to the actual music more than anything.

I can go ahead and remove you manually, though, so you don't have go through the extra steps!

and also, if it's not allowed for a deck, i assume it also wouldn't be allowed for a music sheet/banner etc?
